Cocktail Hour with Evoolution

Summer sips on a warm day just can't be beat! If you're looking to mix up the usual suspects in your beverage rotation, our olive oils and balsamic vinegars are just the thing to try!

A green metal table holds a wooden serving board with three cocktails, accompanied by fresh fruits and herbs and three bottles of Evoolution oil and vinegar

We all know about mixing Evoolution's white balsamic vinegars into sparkling water to make deliciously refreshing Italian sodas... but why stop there? Trying a dash of a flavoured olive oil or dark balsamic vinegar levels up the flavours in many cocktails and mocktails in such a unique way!

Watermelon Slush with Cherry Dark Balsamic Vinegar

You can't go wrong with a blended slushy drink on a hot day! This thirst-quencher blends watermelon with frozen fruit, a bit of lime juice, and a generous splash of Cherry Dark Balsamic Vinegar. The rich cherry flavour perfectly balances the sweetness of the watermelon and the tartness of the lime. Looking for something a bit stronger? A shot of vodka or gin is the ideal complement!

To make, blend 1/2 cup frozen berries, a small seedless watermelon, cubed, 4-6 ice cubes, 2 tbsp. Cherry Dark Balsamic Vinegar, and 1 tbsp. lime juice. Pour into glasses and top with sparkling water, if desired.

Tropical Colada with Blood Orange Olive Oil

Creamy coconut milk, fresh pineapple juice and orange juice, shaken with ice creates a delightful twist on a piña colada. The foamy surface is the perfect canvas for a swirl of Blood Orange Olive Oil. Each sip will be accented with a burst of this zesty fused olive oil. If you are part of the "5'o clock somewhere" crowd, throw in some spiced rum or coconut liqueur!

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and add 1 cup coconut milk, 1/2 cup pineapple juice and 1/2 cup orange juice. Strain into a chilled glass and top with a drizzle of Blood Orange Olive Oil

Zesty No-jito with Suyo Cucumber White Balsamic Vinegar

The classic combo of freshly muddled mint and lime gets a boost of flavour from the addition of Suyo Cucumber White Balsamic Vinegar. The sweet and zippy balsamic lends an extra layer of freshness to this drink. Top it off with sparkling water and enjoy! Psst- You can take this sipper from no-jito to mojito with a shot of white rum!

Muddle a handful of peppermint leaves with 1 tbsp. of Suyo Cucumber White Balsamic Vinegar per glass. Squeeze half a lime into each glass and add the lime along with a handful of ice, then top with sparkling water. Opt for more balsamic if you like a sweeter drink!

Which concoction will you try first to toast the summer season? Cheers!
