Ingredients
-
3 Cups frozen mixed berries
-
¼ Cup Black Cherry Balsamic
-
Ice cream, brownies, etc.
Directions
Add mixed berries to a medium saucepan and heat on the stovetop on low-medium heat. Add the Black Cherry Balsamic and stir to incorporate.
Stir periodically as the berries melt and the mixture beings to simmer. The berries should bread down and form a jam-like consistency. Once the mixture starts to bubble slightly, reduce the heat to low and simmer for an additional 10 minutes to thicken the mixture.
Allow the compote to cool slightly before topping a bowl of ice cream or warm brownie.
