Ingredients
-
½ Cup heavy cream
-
1 Tbsp. Black Cherry Balsamic
-
1 Cup dark chocolate, finely chopped
-
1 Tsp. Vanilla paste or extract
-
Cocoa powder, for rolling
Directions
In a small saucepan, whisk together the heavy cream, Black Cherry Balsamic, and vanilla. Heat until it simmers but does not boil.
Add the chocolate to a large heatproof bowl. Pour the hot cream mixture over the chocolate and stir to melt the chocolate. Ensure the mixture is thoroughly combined and all the chocolate has melted. Refrigerate the mixture until firm, approximately 1-2 hours.
Use a small scoop or melon baller to form truffles from the chilled mixture. Smooth in your hands and roll in a dish of cocoa powder. Refrigerate the truffles for an additional 30 minutes before serving.

Recipe Note
Our Strawberry and Raspberry Balsamic vinegars also shine in this dessert. Instead of using cocoa powder for dusting, try rolling the truffles in shredded coconut or chopped walnuts!
