Tuna Niçoise Salad with Basil Olive Oil and Ultra Premium Rosé Balsamic

Ingredients

1 Tbsp. Each sesame seeds, black sesame seeds, Italian seasoning, and sugar

2 Tuna steaks

1 Tbsp. Extra Virgin Olive Oil

3 Eggs, soft boiled

1 Lb. Green beans, blanched

½ Lb. new potatoes, boiled

½ Cup grape tomatoes, halved
-
½ Cup olives
-
1 Shallot, sliced
-
2 Radishes, sliced

¼ Cup Basil Olive Oil

2 Tbsp. Ultra Premium Rosé Balsamic

1 Tbsp. Grainy mustard

1 Clove garlic, minced

Salt and pepper, to taste
Dressing
Directions
Brush tuna steaks with soy sauce. In a shallow dish, combine both sesame seeds, sugar, and Italian seasoning. Press tuna into the crusting mixture until completely covered on all sides.
Sear tuna steaks in extra virgin olive oil for 1 min per side, then 20 seconds or so on sides and ends. Remove from the pan and slice thinly. Set aside.
In a jar, mix olive oil, balsamic, mustard, garlic, salt and pepper. Shake to mix.
Assemble remaining salad ingredients in a bowl. Pour dressing over salad and top with sliced tuna.
