This banana bread recipe is the perfect snack made even better with the addition of EVOO which keeps it nice and moist. Perfectly delicious with or without the chocolate chips, this is sure to be your go-to recipe.

Ingredients

1/2 cup brown sugar, packed

2 eggs

4 bananas, extra ripe and mashed

1 tsp baking soda

1 tsp Velvet de Guerande salt

1 tsp Cinnamon

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 1/2 cup whole wheat flour

1/2 cup chocolate chips optional
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 F. Grease loaf pan using 1-2 tbsp of EVOO.
In a large bowl, mix remaining EVOO with the brown sugar.
Add the eggs and mix for 1 minute, then add the bananas and mix until combined.
Stir in baking soda, salt, cinnamon, chocolate chips (optional), and vanilla extract. Add the flour and stir until just incorporated.
Pour batter into pan and bake at 350 F for 50 minutes or until toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let rest for 10 in pan, then slice and enjoy.
