Nuts & bolts is one of those recipes that will always get eaten up faster than you expect! The savoury mixture of Olive Wood Smoked Olive Oil and Roasted Garlic Sea Salt really levels up the combo of cereal, nuts, and pretzels into something everyone will be snacking on! Good thing you can double or quadruple the recipe, no problem.
Savoury Nuts & Bolts with Olive Wood Smoked Olive Oil and Roasted Garlic Sea Salt
Preheat the oven to 200F. In a roasting pan, mix together the cereals, nuts, and pretzels. Stir to mix.
In a small bowl or glass, mix together all the dressing ingredients. Stir thoroughly, then pour over top of the dry mix, ensuring you scrape all the seasoning out.
Thoroughly mix everything together in the roasting pan. Place the pan in to the oven without the lid on and roast for 1.5-2 hours, stirring every 30 minutes or so to ensure nothing burns.
After removing from the oven, allow the mixture to cool so it gets crispy. Store in an air tight container.

Nuts and bolts are a classic in our family. I never thought of using olive oil instead of plain vegetable oil, but maybe we will try this next time!
